It’s Been So Long….
My last boyfriend dumped me 3 years ago. That means it’s been 3 years since I’ve been in a relationship. It’s been 8 years since I’ve lived with a guy. Though I have no prospects at the moment, I started thinking today about how my life would change if I were in a relationship.
The thought process started while I was cleaning my bathroom in socks, underwear and my university hoodie (go Rams!). This is a standard Saturday outfit for me, and I wondering if I would have to change that. In fact, my entire Saturday routine of going in and out of consciousness while watching reruns of MTV reality shows would probably need to go out the window.
Would I have to start putting my clothes IN the clothes basket rather than right beside it?
What about my Thunder From Down Under calendar that hangs just outside my bathroom door? Would I need to get rid of that? I still have 11 months to go before I get to Donovan. WHAT ABOUT DONOVAN??? He’s the hunk from Thunder From Down Under that I got my pic taken with. That photo sits framed on top of my tv. What would I do with the frame if I had to hide him?

Maybe I should just find a guy whose place is way better than mine so that we never have to come to my place.
What else would I have to change?

I wouldn’t worry too much.
Clothes going in the basket is just wrong, they go much better on the floor.
MTV reality is awesome, my favorite hungover tv watching.
If a guy can’t get over that you find other guys attractive than he’s probably not confident enough for someone like you (i mean that in a good way by the way)
One time this girl bought me a sunshine girl calendar for christmas. Then a couple months later we started dating and she repeatedly insisted that I take it down. I told her something along the lines of it meaning too much to take down because it came from her, she didn’t like that.
You might have to stop writing about hot guys from the gym, its slightly different since you actually semi know them.

Well I think if you want to have pictures of guys that you find attractive you should find one and hang his picture but if you still have a need to hang your calendar and pictures I assume it will be okay for the guy you are in a “relationship” with to hang pictures of Woman that he finds attractive. As far as you cleaning in your underwear - Guys like that, so you would not need to change that :-)

I don’t know if you really need to change anything. My boyfriend and I live together and he never seems to put his clothes in the clothes hamper, but right beside it as you do (maybe it’s a male trait?) As for the calender, he never looks at it (prefers to go digital), so I can put up whatever I want. I figure it’s only fair if I keep track of what’s going on.
T.v. will change. I can no longer watch all the TLC shows that I want as he doesn’t like them. I don’t really like his shows either (CNN all day long does NOT appeal to me). That being said, I am hardly ever home on the weekend, so I guess it’s not a huge loss. I just send him out with his friends so that I can get an overload of my shows :)
