The Construction Worker Part 15573
To update you on where things are with CW, basically nowhere. We’ve been in this serious texting relationship for about 3 months, and, seeing that it was going nowhere, I told him that unless he wanted a face-to-face date, that it would stop. This was about 3 weeks ago. He said he’d “check his schedule” and get back to me. Nothing really changed except that I grew aggravated that he wouldn’t take an hour or two from his soccer training to meet up.
So, Sunday night, I sent him a text telling him that it wasn’t going to work. I didn’t hear back from him, and assumed it was over. He hasn’t been at the gym for several weeks, so I figured his soccer was taking the place of weights, and I’d probably never see him again.
Yesterday, he sent me a text asking if we could be just friends. This is where I get confused. We never saw each other, and had a relationship based on 10 to 20 text messages a day, only during working hours. What kind of friendship was supposed to be salvaged? I responded that we’re still on good terms, and yes, we could be friends. Assuming he meant that if we run into each other at the gym, that we would be casual about it all.
I got a text from him about 20 minutes ago (around 7:30am) saying “good morning”. Where’s he going here? Are we going to be text buddies for the rest of our lives?

Hmmm…. I am willing to bet that he is blown away by your awesomeness and doesn’t want to get hurt if you reject him further down the road.
Either that, or he has a girl on the side, she found his texts and now he needs to end it.

I agree with Janice. Hes got something else going on and he’s keeping you as a friend to keep you as his vag in a glass case (break in case of emergency). You dont need that. Plus youve got plenty of friends who you actually meet at some point or the other. So its relationship or bust for CW.

I think it’s impossible to describe the perfect man. I could try, but then I’ll probably end up falling in love with someone completely opposite. Living by this code is what lets me go out with all the guys I talk about on here. You just never know…
